We are seeking a Lead Data Scientist who can analyze student performance data and turn those insights into meaningful improvements in the learning process. In this role, you will work with AI-generated data to identify patterns, support student progress, and help improve the systems that drive this innovative learning model.
Create detailed academic data reports and analyze student performance metrics
Identify learning challenges, unusual patterns, and areas that require attention
Implement solutions or adjustments within a short timeframe to support student progress
Lead coaching or support sessions when learners encounter difficulties
Help distinguish between knowledge gaps and simple mistakes in student performance
Evaluate and test new educational tools and digital learning applications
Develop and experiment with AI-based solutions to improve learning outcomes
Work with leadership teams to refine dashboards, analytics tools, and mastery benchmarks
Long meetings with little impact or unnecessary presentations
Grading assignments or preparing traditional lesson plans
Working only at a strategic level without hands-on involvement
This position focuses on practical problem-solving, data analysis, and real-time improvements in student learning outcomes.
The main goal of this role is to improve student learning results by using data-driven insights and AI tools. Success is measured through metrics such as learning speed, lesson mastery, engagement levels, and improved accuracy in student responses.
Experience in data science, analytics, EdTech, or student-support roles that combine technical and communication skills
Strong ability to work with data in Google Sheets (including pivot tables, filtering, and lookup functions)
Good communication skills and the ability to explain insights clearly
High emotional intelligence and a coaching mindset when working with students
Experience building workflows or automation systems using AI tools
Knowledge of learning science or educational methodologies
Experience improving learning outcomes through data analysis
Familiarity with generative AI tools and prompt design
Basic programming knowledge such as Python, JavaScript, or similar languages for working with AI APIs
